Introduction
If you’re using your desk phone or softphone at a location other than your primary, registered location address, it’s important to make sure that you have the correct emergency location saved for your user profile. Making sure this information is up to date helps first responders quickly dispatch to your location in case of an emergency. You can update your emergency location in the My Phone Next portal.
Update Your Emergency Location
- From the My Phone Next portal, click on the arrow next to your profile icon.
- Select Account Settings.
- Scroll down to Emergency Location.
- If you are not at your current location, you can update you address by entering the following:
- House Number
- Direction (if applicable)
- Street Name
- Street Direction (if applicable)
- Unit Number (if applicable)
- When complete, click Save.
Note: If you change locations, make sure you update your address, as necessary, to ensure emergency services can locate you in case of an emergency.
