Device retirement

Verizon and our partner Cisco work together to ensure our Webex Calling devices provide you with the maximum level of security and reliability. To this end, Cisco phases out selected devices associated or used with Webex Calling.

These devices should be retired and replaced with more current CPE at your earliest convenience in order to avoid disruption of service.

End of Sale

The devices listed below can no longer be ordered past the date listed. This is also known as end of sale. After the end-of-sale date passes, phones can’t be manually added back to your admin portal.

End of Life

Please pay special attention to the end-of-life date. End-of-life devices shown below stop functioning on your Webex Calling service, after that date.

To identify whether your devices are impacted, log in to the admin portal and export an inventory device list and then filter the list to identify devices that need replacement. For more information about how to access your list of devices, see this guide.

Contact our Verizon Sales Representative or Solution Architect to identify and order the replacement device(s) that best meet the needs of your business. Upon receipt of the new equipment, you’ll need to provision the new device MAC address in the admin portal. For instructions on how to add a device and view/export a list of your devices, see this guide.

If you have questions about the change, you may also contact our Verizon support team or create a ticket by logging on to the Verizon Enterprise Center or by calling 1.800.287.6235 (option 3).
